Today I was invited to the home of Michelle Polzine, pastry chef and collector. This is my first time meeting Michelle to discuss our video we are going to create together. At first I thought we would be talking pastry but the minute I walked into her flat, I just had to start shooting. Her collection of lamps and all things from the 1940s era is extraordinary.
As I interviewed Michelle, I quickly learned Michelle is one of a few chefs on the west coast who still creates authentic classic strudel, not machine made.
Just announced, she is opening a new cafe, 20th Century Cafe, in 2013!
